NBA Cancels Final Celtics Home Game Of The Regular Season Following Boston Marathon Bombings

The NBA has cancelled the Boston Celtics final home game of the season against the Indiana Pacers which was scheduled for Tuesday night. The game will not be rescheduled for another date.

The NBA released the following statement on NBA.com:

National Basketball Association game scheduled for Tuesday, April 16 between the Indiana Pacers and the Boston Celtics at TD Garden has been canceled. The game will not be rescheduled.
The NBA expresses its sympathy to all those affected by the tragedy in Boston earlier today.

The Celtics final game of the regular season is against the Raptors on Wednesday night before the playoffs get underway this weekend.
