Ronda Rousey had dinner with Triple H so now the wrestling world is fully convinced she is going to enter the Women's Royal Rumble and she's going to win the bloody thing!
OK, well maybe it won't go that far but the possibility of her entering the Women's Royal Rumble has been staring everyone in the face since the historic match was announced, and her recent rendezvous with Triple H has added further fuel to the fire.
The pair were spotted having dinner in the Republique restaurant, in Los Angeles, on Tuesday and afterwards, Triple H told the Associated Press 'We have nothing to announce at this time,' adding:
She’s a huge fan of what we do and she’s incredibly interested in what we do and the opportunities that lie there. We’re fans of hers and incredibly interested in what those opportunities could be with us. But there’s a lot of things to walk through. We’re talking. We’re having conversations.
If they're still only having conversations then it's very hard to see how Rousey would be up to scratch in time to play any sort of major role in the Rumble, if she was to debut in it, but what could happen is that she might make a brief appearance in it to set up a storyline that carries through to Wrestlemania and gives her time to train. Or maybe she has been training for months now. How the hell do I know? I'm just a poor man latching onto TMZ scoops.
Speaking of TMZ, Rousey kept stum with them after the dinner, simply answering 'I really enjoy fine dining,' when pressed about the rumours.
