Watch: Chris O'Dowd Stars In Hilarious Looking Netflix Comedy About Mascots

Actor, comedian, participant in the Fantasy Football league, Chris O'Dowd is one of Roscommon's finest exports, and his latest gig looks set to be highly enjoyable.

A star-studded cast has been lined up for 'Mascots', where O'Dowd will be joined by Jane Lynch, Fred Willard, Harry Shearer, Zach Woods, Jennifer Coolidge, and Elizabeth Banks amongst others, with the idea being a behind the scenes look at the life of sports mascots.



A trailer for O'Dowd's mascot and character, known as 'The First' has us eagerly anticipating the show's release on Netflix next week:


There's shades of Cork in that accent for sure. The trailer for the rest of the show also looks like something we are definitely going to get involved with:


It's out on Netflix on October 13th, and we're seriously looking forward to it.

The world of sports "mascottery" is gravely underappreciated, so it's good to see it finally getting the recognition it deserves.
