WWE Legend Chyna Passes Away Aged 45

One of the most popular and well known female WWF/WWE wrestlers of all time, Chyna has passed away overnight aged 45. The news broke via her twitter account, where this message was posted:

It is with deep sadness to inform you today that we lost a true icon, a real life superhero. Joanie Laurer aka Chyna, the 9th wonder of the world has passed away. She will live forever in the memories of her millions of fans and all of us that loved her.

Chyna was the first, and so far only woman to ever hold the WWF Intercontinental Championship, and is a former WWF Women's champion as well.

She was the first woman to wrestle in the Royal Rumble and King of the Ring events, and eventually became the number one contender to the WWF Championship. Her victories against prominent male wrestlers like Triple H and Chris Jericho means that she is considered one of the best female wrestlers of all time.
