Jason Smyth won his second gold medal of the 2017 World Para Athletics Championships in the T13 200m at the London Stadium on Tuesday evening.

Like he did in the 100m final, the 30-year-old won with ease, running 21.40. The Derryman powered out of the blocks, victory was his before he had turned off the bend.

Though he slowed up in the final 40m or so, Smyth finished well ahead of Namibia's Johannes Nambala in second and Poland's Mateusz Michalski in third.

On Sunday evening, Smyth won gold in the T13 100m final just minutes before best friend Michael McKillop did likewise in the T38 800m decider.

The 200m victory takes the Derryman's overall World Championship haul to seven gold medals.
