Races took place at the exact same time, in 32 locations across the globe. The Irish leg began in Killarney, with runners heading west around the Ring of Kerry. The objective was to as run as far you could for as long you could until you were passed out by the 'catcher car' - a Honda CR-V which set off half an hour after the start and travelled at a leisurely speed at 15km per hour.

Joe Canning, Seamus Moynihan, JJ Hanrahan, and Bernard Brogan joined the hundreds of others who took part.

The Irish men's winner was John O'Regan who ran 49.2km, while the women's winner was Alison Kirwan who ran 30.4km. The global winner was Lemawork Ketema who ran a whopping 78.5km in Austria.
