Boxer Billy Joe Saunders has launched an extraordinary attack on the people of Ireland in an interview from his car broadcast on the IFL TV youtube channel, which is sponsored by Daniel Kinahan's MTK Promotions. Billy Joe Saunders, while wearing an MTK cap, called Ireland 'so corrupt' in a defence of his advisor and long-time friend Kinahan
You can watch the rant at 4.45 here:
Billy Joe Saunders specifically says:
Do you know what? I'm even just gonna stop you before you can even finish your fucking sentence. I know the backlash he gets. I get Irish media hounding me, harassing me about 'oh can you comment on this, can you comment on that'. I'm not Daniel's dad. He advises me. But what I can say is. Let's just saw now someone takes a shit in Ireland. Ireland is... I would hate to live in that country. It's so corrupt. It's a joke. Let's say anybody, I don't know if it's like a police officer, if anything happens, it's Daniel Kinahan. Leave the man alone. He's fucking getting on with business. A lot of people are jealous of success. He's good at his job. He's very fucking good at his job. I think he's too big for Ireland. I think for the amount of business of what he's doing and everything else, Ireland should really appreciate him for that small country they got and say 'look what we got'... You get all these negative stories about all the other rubbish, it's always headlining all this cartel shit and allt his and that. I've known him all my life. I've never heard him talk about any violence. And I'm the straightest talker in the world. I think someone's prick, I saw they're a prick. He's very, very good man and an extremely good businessman. And without him, there would be a lot a lot a lot of fighters that'd be in big trouble.
He goes on to make further attacks on the Irish justice system. Billy Joe Saunders is a long time friend and associate of Kinahan. He had his boxing license suspended at the end of March for posting a video advising men how to beat women, which tells you everything you need to know about him, and those who consider him a friend.
