The eyes of the sporting world were on Dusseldorf as the hype ended and we finally got the heavyweight clash that we had all been looking forward to.

Tensions were running high early on, as Fury's camp was extremely upset that Klitschko had begun to have his hands wrapped without a member of Fury's entourage present, and threatened to call of the fight if he didn't re-wrap.

But nothing other than a minor delay to the entrances was the end result.

Everybody tuned in just in time to see Rod Stewart attempt to sing, and it's didn't go down too well:

But soon the fighters were making their way to the ring.

DING DING - Round 1

Most gave it to Fury but there wasn't much in it.

The same could be said for rounds 2 & 3.

Before Wladimir started to come back into it.

5 and 6 were much tougher to call.

And a few fans became a bit disgruntled:

As we entered the latter stages, Fury grew in confidence, and those watching took notice:

It was round 9 when Klitschko finally landed a right hand:

But that just confused things even more..

Those watching realised that a tense decision was on the cards:

A point deduction to Fury threw a spanner in the works.

The final round..

The decision came in..

Unanimous decision - Tyson Fury wins!!
