After a century from Paul Stirling and a brilliant 80 from 46 deliveries from Kevin O’Brien, Ireland were left needing 5 runs to win and 4 to tie, off the last ball of yesterday's one day international against Pakistan.

Considering the drama of the moment and the fact that Ireland had achieved a very creditable tie against an established Test playing nation, one would expect alot more excitement from the Irish commentator.

Ireland face Pakistan again on Sunday in Clontarf in what now becomes the decider of their two match series.
