Now we've seen it all, a pig at a cricket game completes the list of weird and wacky animals at a sports venue.

The outstanding performance of England's Stuart Broad in the first day of test of the Ashes was somewhat overshadowed by a certain spectator in the crowd.

A pig managed to squeeze past the security guards at the Gabba cricket ground in Brisbane but was later captured leaving the ground in the restraints of the stadium police.

This carnival atmosphere seemed to have helped the Aussies see the funny side of the game even though there players on the field may not have been doing the busy.

However, the last time a swine was found at a major sporting event didn't have the same happy ending. In 2002 Real Madrid's Luis Figo was greeted by the head of a pig on his return to Nou Camp.
