Fantasy Premier League has officially launched for the 19/20 season, meaning you can now start your plot for global domination.

While we will all inevitably lose interest by the middle of September, now the dreaming starts. This is your year.

We have looked at the prices of all the players in this year's FPL, and here are some of the interesting things we have noticed.

1. Mo Salah is still the most expensive player... and still a midfielder

Mo Salah's 13.0m price from last season may have dropped slightly to 12.5m, but he is still the most expensive player in FPL.

It is also worth mentioning that he still listed as a midfielder, meaning that each goal he gets will be worth five points as opposed to the four strikers get.

2. Aaron Wan-Bissaka has been given a decent price bump

Having started the 18/19 campaign as lowly 4.0m player, Wan-Bissaka has jumped up the price standings to 5.5m this year.

When he inevitably joins Manchester United, he will be their joint-most expensive defender.

3. Alexis Sanchez is priced at 7.0m, and it's still too expensive

Far from the heights he braved at Arsenal a few seasons ago when he was the most expensive player in the league, Sanchez has a much more modest price tag this year.

Judging by his recent form, it's still not cheap enough to tempt us in.

4. Jota is unfortunately no longer a midfielder

Jota was a decent option last season, but his listing as a striker is a bit of a blow for the 19/20 campaign. He will cost 6.5m, but his goals are now worth less, while clean sheets are now also meaningless to him.

5. Matt Doherty & Conor Hourihane are the most expensive Irish players

Recommended

Doherty's 6.0m price tag is not a shock, considering his form last season. What is a bit more surprising is that he is joined by Conor Hourihane as Ireland's most expensive player.

Hourihane had fantastic numbers for Villa last season, registering eight goals and 11 assists. Hopefully he can carry that form into the Premier League.

6. Enda Stevens will be a steal at 5.0m

Having been one of the standout performers in their Sheffield United's promotion campaign, Stevens looks like an attractive proposition in FPL.

He will be deployed in a left wing back role, where he grabbed four goals and six assists last season. The Blades also conceded by far the least amount of goals in the Championship last season, so clean sheets should also be on the horizon.

7. Jack Grealish looks like a snip at 6.0m

Jack Grealish will be the main man at Aston Villa, meaning he would be a shrewd pickup at that price.

Six goals and seven assists last season may not be huge numbers, but he should thrive in the less physical Premier League.

8. Liverpool's fullbacks get the top billing as defenders

After coming up with a combined 25 assists last season in the league, it is not surprise that Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold are the most expensive defenders in FPL. They will set you back 7.0m, which is definitely better value than Alexis Sanchez.

9. Raul Jimenez is still the best bargain out there

A perpetual bargain in last year's edition, Raul Jimenez should still be a go to man in 19/20. At 7.5m, he is sure to grab a hat-full of points for a strong Wolves side.

10. Keep an eye out for Naby Keita

Keita endured an injury hit campaign in 18/19, meaning we have yet to see his best in a Liverpool shirt. He will set you back 6.0m this season.

We get the feeling he is being slightly underrated. If he can replicate his RB Leipzig form, he will be an absolute bargain.
