With the news that Manchester United have already secured their first transfer target in Holland international Memphis Depay, it is clear that Louis Van Gaal is not messing about when it comes to the transfer window this season.
Manchester United are believed to be in heavy pursuit of Borussia Dortmund pair Ilkay Gundogan and Mats Hummels, as well as Southampton right-back Nathaniel Clyne, and should Ed Woodward manage to arrange the deals necessary, then United could line up like this on the first day of the season.
The first thing you'll ask is: "Where is Juan Mata?", and rightly so.
If Angel Di Maria doesn't settle in this summer after a full year in England then you can slide Mata into that spot, but you would have to think that with Copa America coming up and a full pre-season in Manchester, he can get back to some sort of form. If not then he will surely be moved on due to his enormous price tag.
Exciting times for Manchester United fans.
