The one they call 'Pards' is up to it again.
Alan Pardew, the type of football manager who vacations in Ibiza during the off-season, has once again provided a moment of pure Pardew in his pre-match press conference ahead of this weekend's fixtures.
Crystal Palace take on Spurs in the early Sunday kick-off, and in advance of the game the Palace boss has provided some changing room wall material for the Tottenham players with this comment, which for some managers you could excuse as accidental, but not when it's Pards.

Knowing full well that Spurs are targeting a top six place, that sneaky top ten comment has wound up a lot of Spurs fans, much to the delight of everyone else who supports a Premier League club.
Pardew seems confident, and it's easy to see why as his Palace side sit in fifth place with three wins from their opening five games. Add this one to the long list of memorable Alan Pardew quotes.
