"A Bad Agent, A Shitbag"- Alex Ferguson Gives Blunt View On Raiola's Involvement With Pogba

When Manchester United spent £89.3 million on Paul Pogba to bring him back to the club after four seasons in Italy with Juventus, the decision to allow him to leave in the first place once again came under scrutiny.

It had popped up pretty much any time Pogba scored a goal or registered an assist for Juve, and understandably so as many United fans were puzzled as to why such a clearly talented player was allowed to 'slip through the cracks', but in actual fact, there was little the club could do to keep him without a guarantee that he would play.

Mino Raiola, Pogba's agent, was hugely influential in the transfer to Juventus, as he was for the return to Old Trafford, as his client wanted to play football and he got him the best deal. Or so it would seem.

Alex Ferguson blamed Raiola on several occasions for turning Pogba's head, but his latest pop at the 'superagent' drew raucous laughter from the audience as the legendary manager gave another one of his talks that he has been conducting around the world since his retirement.

Professional rugby player Brian Mujati is also a regular vlogger on YouTube, and during his time at Sale Sharks he was in the room for one of Fergie's speeches. He used the opportunity to ask the former Man Utd manager what happened with Paul Pogba, and the response he got was hilarious.

Paul Pogba?

He had a bad agent. A shitbag.

Unfortuantely the clip was cut off right as Ferguson was explaining that Man Utd had offered Pogba an excellent contract to stay at the club, but based on what he has said before, he believes Raiola convinced him to turn it down.

Mujati has some serious balls to basically ask Alex Ferguson why he brained the Pogba situation, and you could even see some folks around him looking squeamish as to how the Scot would take that, but he fired back immediately and the room erputed with laughter.
