As Arsenal and Napoli continue their pursuit of Kieran Tierney, it appears Celtic are putting in place a contingency plan in case he leaves the club.

Left back is often a difficult position to recruit a new player, and their seems to be a general lack of quality players in that role around at the moment.

While we have no idea if this lad will actually be any good, his name is an encouraging sign. It is without doubt one of the best names in football at the moment.

Boli Bolingoli-Mbombo. What a feckin' name that is! He sounds like the world's greatest Football Manager regen.

The defender was born in Belgium, where he would start his career with Club Brugge. He is currently with Rapid Vienna in Austria, but he is set to seal a £3million move to Scotland.

His club posted on their twitter account to say the player had been granted permission to travel to Glasgow.

Today no longer in Bad Zell is Boli #Bolingoli- our number 5 received permission to leave the training camp yesterday.

If there are more news about him, we will get back to you!

Neil Lennon also hinted that the deal was close.

We are not too far away and he will be another good addition to the squad.

He gives us competition at left-back, he's strong, athletic and good on the ball.

He might be our favourite player already. The only problem is that it will cost a fortune to get that name printed on the back of a jersey.
