Barry Rogerson, the man who punched Bud the Horse, has been given a one year jail sentence.
Bud can be at ease now knowing that the whole episode is behind him and he can roam the streets performing his Police duties with this 45-year-old tormentor will be behind bars.

The judge said Rogerson had "had plenty of opportunities to move away [from the horse]". He added: "You stood your ground and attacked the horse by punching it in the head.
