Fantasy Football Might Not Be Glenn Whelan's Thing

Last season it emerged that there was what looked like a Stoke City squad fantasy football league on the Premier League's fantasy football site.

It looks like it's back this season and Glenn Whelan did not have a good first week.

Young Scottish midfielder Jamie Ness tops the league with Jermaine Pennant in second and Jon Walters in third. Maybe the Irish international could have been even further up the league had he not selected himself and then missed that penalty against Liverpool.

Either Charlie Adam is really serious about fantasy football or he has some self esteem problems because he left himself on the bench for gameweek 1.

And here's the team that sees Glenn Whelan in last place.

Some decent performances from their teams this week but their points could have been a bit higher if you know, they didn't pick so many Stoke players.
