Juan Mata Reportedly Set To Publish Book Of Poetry In Time For Christmas

If you ask a thousand Manchester United fans how they feel about Juan Mata, you will likely only hear two types of response.

On the one hand, you have those who are disappointed with the impact Mata has (or hasn't) had since he arrived in a helicopter to sign from Chelsea, as he has never consistently put in a true run of great form or found his best place in the side.

And on the other, you'll hear; 'I love him'. This love is not just for his ability to kill a ball that has been shot out of a cannon stone head with his first touch, but instead is based on Juan Mata the person. It is quite clear that the Spaniard is an absolutely lovely bloke, who not only knows and appreciates how fortunate he is to be a professional footballer, but regularly gives back to the fans and acknowledges their importance to a football club.

He's also ridiculously intelligent and can regularly be seen exploring cultural landmarks and museums on his social media pages.

As if he wasn't already interesting enough, he is apparently set to release a book of poetry in time for Christmas this year.

We know this because of a claim made by Marca in what appeared to be a random fitness update in a recently published edition of the newspaper. Along with an update and a pic of Juan looking very content with life came the information that a book of poetry is set to be published in time for the festive period.

The above simply drops the fact that he has a poetry book coming out for Christmas like everybody already knew.

It's the least "pro footballer" thing you could imagine a footballer doing, apart from Frank Lampard's children's books maybe, but that is who Juan Mata is. Fair play to him, if he does indeed go ahead with it, we'll be getting a copy sent to our office for sure.

Hugs.
