Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has been named as the most overpaid signing of the summer transfer window.
Leading stats and research company CIES Football Observatory have given the Spaniard the unwanted title, believing that Chelsea paid £40 million over the odds for the 23-year-old.
Kepa transferred from Athletic Bilbao to Chelsea for £71.6m, a world record figure for a goalkeeper, but according to the research the player's true valuation should have been £31.5m.
The stats also found that Yerry Mina's transfer to Everton was overpriced by £15.6m, and Danny Ings transfer fee to Southampton was also inflated by £13.4m.
