Ahead of this evening's Club World Cup semi-final against Monterrey, Liverpool have sent Irish goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher to Qatar for the tournament.

After lining out for a young Liverpool side against Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup quarter-final last night, Kelleher along with Ki-Jana Hoever and Sepp Van Den Berg are set to join the senior squad in the Middle East.  The rest of the squad flew out on Sunday after the club's victory over Watford.

Liverpool's game against Monterrey kicks off later this evening at 5.30pm, with the winners playing Flamengo on Saturday at 5.30pm.

The Brazilian club won their Club World Cup semi-final last night 3-1 against Al-Hilal after initially falling behind in the first half.
