The controversy over Roddy Collins' comments about the FAI Cup final wages on as the Luton Town manager John Still has come out and said it was a 'worthwhile trip' to see the game. This was despite the fact the Collin claimed he had said none of the players on display would be good enough to get into the Luton team.

Still has since said:

It was a scouting trip and we looked at three players.

One of the players did okay, although it wasn’t a good game, but that’s one of those things that can happen a lot in cup finals; they don’t live up to expectations.

The Luton Town manager didn't say he would definitely be making any offers however, adding 'I had a look, whether we take that on, we’ll wait and see.'
