It looked like it was going to be a comfortable evening for Manchester United when Marcus Rashford set up Antony for the lead after four minutes in this FA Cup tie.

However, David De Gea somehow let the ball from Neal Maupay squeeze through his legs, with Conor Coady having a tap in to draw Everton level.

It's a shocking mistake from an international goalkeeper. Everton have showed a bit of fight, they have turned it into a cup tie, but that's carry on football from De Gea.

It looks like he has a had a few drinks, a shocking mistake. It's almost as if the goalkeeper has been sent off and there's an outfield player in goal, he just doesn't know what to do. A horrendous mistake.

It gives Everton a bit of encouragement, a bit of belief and a bit of lift for the supporters."

Roy Keane has never made it a secret of his feelings towards the Manchester United goalkeeper, who will hope this doesn't lead back to his previous form that made fans question his future at the club.

It looked like De Gea was back to his best this season. After looking like the best goalkeeper in the world between 2015-2018, mistakes crept into his game that cost Manchester United dearly.

The Spanish goalkeeper had showed signs of his old form with some brilliant saves under Erik Ten Hag, and has also kept eight clean sheets, the second most in the Premier League.

However, this mistake will make fans question once again the need for his replacement between the posts.
