Thierry Henry has announced his retirement from football. He will join Sky Sports as an analyst, with some reports suggesting he will earn £25 million from the role.

Speaking to Sky Sports' David Jones about calling it a day, he was asked if there was anything to the recent rumours about a possible return to Arsenal.

In a few sentences he expressed his thoughts on the matter and dismissed the latter part of Sylvester Stallone's career.

You kind of never leave Arsenal, of course everyone wants to know about the playing side. No, we didn't talk too much about that. You know like I said, how many comebacks do you make? It will turn out to be a bad movie at one point. We all love the first Rocky but I don't know about the last one.

He did not rule out a return to the club as a coach one day though.

We await word regarding his opinion of The Expendables 3.
