The RTÉ panel was in fantastic form after the England game last night with John Giles in particular making mad analogies.

The panel were analysing England's lackluster performance against Uruguay when Giles gave us this fascinating piece of insight into what England were missing.

According to Giles in every great player "there's a bit of animal". Giles went further when he told us of the saying the late Bobby Collins had. Watch below:

Who knows how far Giles would have gone if Bill had not interrupted him. Dead grannies, dead grandfathers could only be the beginning. How much of his immediate family does John Giles think it necessary a footballer should murder in order to make them great.
