Watch: Lionel Messi Sends United A Warning With Three Incredible Goals

Don't look now United fans, but Barcelona are absolutely flying at the minute. Of course, those two sides are set to clash in the Champions League quarter finals, with the English club entering the tie as underdogs.

While they overcame such a tag to triumph over PSG in the last round, one gets the feeling that Barcelona offer a much more daunting task. Judging by their performance tonight, they are really clicking at the moment too.

Lionel Messi has been on fire in the last few weeks, even by his own incredibly high standards. That continued this evening, when bended in this inch-perfect free-kick to give his side the lead.

The Argentine maestro would double his and his team's tally right on the stroke of half time. This one was crafted by Luis Suarez, who pulled off an incredible back heel assist to play in Messi.

The former Liverpool man would get in on the act himself in the second half, rolling back the years with this incredible solo effort.

Question the defending all you want here, but Suarez is very difficult to stop when he is in this kind of form.

Messi completed his hat-trick with arguably the pick of the bunch, popping up with this incredible chip to leave the opposition goalkeeper with no chance.

Barcelona will enter the tie against Manchester United as favourites, and judging by this performance, it is not difficult to see why. The likes of Chris Smalling and Phil Jones are going to having nightmares for the next couple of weeks in the build-up to the game after seeing these clips, and rightly so.

While Suarez is no longer the player he once was, he is still capable of moments of magic. Of course we all know what Messi can do, and you would struggle to see how United can reach the semi-finals if Barcelona hit anywhere close to this form.
