A Quick, Simple And Healthy Recipe For An Alternative Porridge Breakfast

There are few better breakfasts than porridge to set you up for the day. But the same meal every morning can get a bit tiresome.

An easy way to change-up your porridge habit is to make porridge pancakes.

The recipe is simple.

Recommended

Per pancake, you need:

60g porridge oats
1 egg
Water

You can of course add extras such as berries, banana, maple syrup as toppings.

1. Put the porridge in a bowl and fill with just enough water to cover.
2. Microwave for a minute.
3. Add the egg.
4. Mix well.
5. Place the mixture in a frying pan. Fry for three minutes on the first side. Turn and then fry for a further two minutes.
