With all the bravado, it's easy to forget who the UFC's pound for pound number 1 is heading into UFC 194. Jose Aldo has dominated the featherweight division and no amount of McGregor's taunting can change reality. Aldo is a supremely talented fighter and it's quite incredible that McGregor is going into the December 12th card as the favourite with the bookies.
That situation may have something to do with the fact that this weeks marks a year since we last saw Aldo in the Octagon. By the time he faces McGregor he'll have had the best part of 14 months out of competitive action. It's difficult to know how he'll deal with that but just in case McGregor's fans are getting too complacent, Aldo posted this video on Instagram with the following warning.
