It's an all-Munster clash as Clare take on Tipperary in the Allianz Hurling League Division One semi-final this Sunday. Here's everything you need to know about Clare v Tipperary.

Clare finished the league in first place on the Division 1A table, securing their place in this week's semi-final with an unexpectedly narrow win over Offaly last week.

Meanwhile, Tipperary's only loss of the season came courtesy of a one-point defeat against Division 1B leaders Limerick, leaving them facing the 1A table-toppers this weekend as they look to build on a very strong start to the season and a comprehensive win over Antrim last weekend.

Clare

It's another strong team for top-of-the-table Clare as they attempt to defeat one of their closest rivals Tipperary. The Banner county will have their work cut out for them with Tipperary naming a near full-strength starting fifteen with possibly one of the most dangerous full-forward lines in the country.

It'll fall to the experienced centre-back John Conlon and full-back Conor Cleary to mount Clare's defence against that threat. Cathal Malone starts at left half-forward with Peter Duggan on the opposite side and Mark Rodgers in the middle in what should be as formidable an attack as Tipperary's.

Tipperary

While Tipperary are still without Cathal Barret heading into their league semi-final, this is by no means a weak team. Ronan Maher captains the side and starts at full-back, with Patrick Maher starting on the far end of the pitch in full forward. Willie Connors is joined by Darragh Stakelum in the middle of the park with Jake Morris and Jason Forde both set to start in a particularly strong full-forward line.

The winner of Clare v Tipperary will go through to the League Final where they'll play either Limerick or Kilkenny in what should be a closely contested competition reflective of the best hurlers in the country at the moment.
