Last night, Colm Cooper sparked one of those internecine Sunday Game squabbles that have become so popular in 2017. He defended his testimonial dinner on last night's Late Late Show, and courted a disagreement with Joe Brolly in the process.
Today, he is back in more familiar surroundings. Cooper is in action in the Kerry Championship for Dr. Crokes, facing off against West Kerry.
While he has departed the intercounty scene, Cooper is still playing with Crokes, and proved that he remains a cut above with this impudent bit of improvisation during the first half of the West Kerry clash.
The West Kerry defence allowed Cooper too much time and space on a free-kick, for which Cooper punished them brilliantly.
