Joe Brolly was on TV3's Ireland AM this morning to talk about his push to change Ireland's organ donation process. The RTÉ GAA analyst was on along with Shane Finnegan the man whom he donated an organ to last year.

Brolly revealed during the conversation that he rang Sean Cavanagh to apologise for a comment he made on RTÉ following Tyrone's win over Monaghan in the All-Ireland quarter-final.

He maintained that he believes everything that he said but clarified what he meant when he said that you could "forget about Sean Cavanagh as far as he is a man" saying that the comment was in regard to his conduct on the field and had nothing to do with Cavanagh's private life.

He also said that Cavanagh accepted the apology.
