Joey Barton Once Again Showcased His Affinity For GAA Today

Last year's acquisition of GAA TV rights by Sky introduced our sports to an entire new audience.

Along with the likes of Mike from Walsall, who was unable to comprehend how keepers were expected to save shots struck 30 feet over their heads, Joey Barton was among those to take a liking to hurling and football.

Bored with England's procession against San Marino today, Barton decided that his time would be better spent watching Dublin and Mayo duke it out for a place in the All-Ireland final.

The Burnley midfielder switched over early in the second half, so he certainly the caught the best of the action.
