Some of you may debate the ultimate historical importance of Snapchat, but it at least means that some of the great odysseys of the world no longer have to be written in Homeric Greek.

Yep, to Odysseus and the rest of the lads we say: step aside. We bring you Midlands 103 commentator and freelance journalist, Joe Troy.

Joe was out last night, and decided that he would walk the four and half hour journey between Shinrone and Rath in Offaly. With his phone in hand, he decided to document the epic journey.

It's really very entertaining, and hits its peak with the Friday Night Lights reference, and how he should be "at home with a mortgage and two kids he didn't love".
