I'm beginning to distrust this 'GAA' organisation. Already we've written a post today about how they're apparently anti-Clare; well now we hearing that they were out to stop Cork too.

How they can be simultaneously conspiring against both teams in the same match is frankly outstanding commitment and execution, if that is indeed the case.

In the eyes of most people, the rule changes around penalties and 20 metre frees seem a logical step to remove the danger of a 90mph sliotar smacking someone in the face. After all, the old phrase 'It's all fun and games until someone loses a testicle' could end up literally applying to an incident in the not-too-distant future.

However – yesterday's hero for Cork – Patrick Horgan contests that the rules were changed specifically with the intention of stopping Cork. He told the Irish Examiner:

To be fair, they brought it in because of Nash, which I thought was highly unfair. It’s just like anything to stop us — that’s what it looks like. Sure, we proved them wrong today but it might be different the next day.

My question on this is ... how do I put this? .... Sweet Mother of Jehovah, why in the name of God would the GAA be out to stop Cork from scoring!? Or Clare for that matter?

Are Liam O'Neill and Cheddar Plunkett in cahoots? Trying to devise a mad plan for Laois to win the Liam McCarthy in the coming years?

I've kept quiet until now but I've had up to here with this whole the world is out to get us agenda that has crept into Gaelic Games. If it's not penalties in hurling, it's black cards in football or the 'everyone in the media wrote us off' nonsense that's spouted across the board.
