It's been a testing year for all of us. With lockdowns and no crowds at matches, the strength and resilience of GAA people has been pushed to the limit. With that in mind, Balls.ie and Sports Direct want to hear about the person in your club who has gone above and beyond this year.

Recommended

The GAA is a volunteer organisation and it relies on people giving their own time for the benefit of clubs and players. Behind every great club are incredible volunteers who coach, clean, make tea and do everything required to make a GAA club warm and welcoming. GAA clubs are essential sources of community spirit because of the many unsung heroes who put their energy into clubs.

Nominate one person who you believe has been a shining light for your club and its members throughout this pandemic, representing all the good things that the GAA is all about: community and togetherness. We'll then select the Club GAA Unsung Hero of the Year.

Make your nominations by emailing [email protected], telling us who your club's unsung hero is and why they deserve the award. The winning club will receive a €150 Sports Direct gift card.
