Paul Brady Wins His 8th All Ireland Handball Title In A Row

Probably - if not definitely - the greatest 40x20 handballer to have ever played the game , Paul Brady broke his own record yesterday by winning the All Ireland Senior Handball Title for the 8th year year in a row. The victory has furthered Brady's credentials as one of Ireland's greatest individual sportsmen; not to mention the fact that he is also one half of the 7 time All Ireland Doubles Champions, along with his partner Michael Finnegan. The pair will face Dessie Keegan and Joe McCann next weekend in an effort to secure their 3rd Senior Softball Doubles Title in a row.

His All-Ireland success will no doubt rub further salt in the wound of his distant relative Tom Brady, with the Patriots quarter back being continuously upstaged by his Cavan cousin (albeit 3rd cousin...possibly 4th, the balls.ie  resident genealogist isn't in today). Brady's handball record reads a little something like this:
