Davy Fitzgerald reveals the secret of Clare's All-Ireland success in The Irish Daily Star today, well sort of.

He's quoted as saying that after the Banner's loss to Cork in the Munster semi-final, all the players who took to the field that day gathered at his house for a meeting.

As with most GAA meetings, there were refreshments on offer. It wasn't health food you'd be expecting though for an All-Ireland winning team but MiWadi orange and biscuits.

Every other inter-county hurling team will surely spend the winter trying to figure out if it was custard creams, Kimberley Mikados, Hobnobs, digestives or maybe even Jaffa Cakes that they consumed that night.
