The best game of hurling this year's Championship has seen was last weekend between Galway and Kilkenny in Tullamore. It was a sensational match with Galway coming from 10 points down to draw the game in a finish that saw Henry Shefflin and Joe Canning exchange brilliant points.

After a game like that, you'd be expecting viewing figures for today's replay to be sky high, except it's not on TV due to RTÉ's World Cup and Irish Derby commitments. It can't be shown after the Brazil and Chile game as Sky are broadcasting the Ulster semi-final between Armagh and Monaghan at the same time.

So either making the trip to Tullamore or listening to the game on the radio are the only options for anyone wishing to follow the Leinster semi-final replay.

One Leinster Council official, quoted by The Irish Times' Malachy Clerkin, sounds like he will not be taking in some World Cup action before the Galway and Kilkenny game.
