Castleknock will take on Raheny in the Dublin Junior A final and to celebrate the occasion, a few of the club members have decided to remix 2012 GAA standard 'Jimmy's Winning Matches' into an ode to their manager Tommy. There's so much to like: from recording it in the jacks to rewriting the lyrics ('We beaten Vinny Man, We beaten Crokes Man, We even beating Ciaran Whelan in the final man') to the random 'Ah leave it out sample'. But why oh why paint a fella's face black like it's an episode of The Black And White Minstrel Show or Vernon And Ryan? What should be a celebratory verse of bigging up geographical destinations in Castleknock feels cringey and vaguely unsettling.

Nice try lads, but we've no choice but to file this as a GAA Song Fail.
