Donal Og Cusack doesn't quite accept this mantra. Last night, he noted that the Hill 16 half of the field was saturated with Kilkenny jerseys during the second half. It was reminiscent of Waterford. Hell, it was borderline Donegal like. The Galway forwards, on a roll and looking in the zone in the first half, barely had time to think when they got their hands on the ball in the second.

Donal Og's talent for a left-field metaphor (we cannot confirm whether he is any better briefed on the sleeping habits of the Ayatollah since the night Cork were dumped out of the championship) was on display last night.
