Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare III is set for release on November 10th of this year, following on from last year's Modern Warfare II.
However, gamers will have a chance to test the beta version of the game at an earlier date.
Two days ago streamer Ryan Alexander shared an image to his Twitter of 'retail documentation', that allegedly reveals the start date for the beta to be October 6.
The document also says that those who preorder the game will receive a code allowing them to join the beta event.
Those who join the event will not be able to play the full game, but will be able to test out some of its main features and provide feedback to the developers.
Call Of Duty: Warzone fans will be particularly excited about the upcoming game as it promises the release of a new map that is rumoured to be similar to the OG Verdansk.
