EA Sports Release First Batch Of FIFA 19 Player Ratings

FIFA 19 player ratings have arrived, and there is sure to be plenty of debate. FIFA 19 is one of the most eagerly anticipated versions of the series in years, with a number of new features set to be unveiled upon it's September 28th release.

With the soundtrack already announced, EA Sports have now moved on to the player ratings.

Every year the company leak the top 100 player ratings in the build up to the game's release, and the first set of ratings for this year's game have now been revealed.The players in the 100-81 range have been announced.

100. KOSTAS MANOLAS: 85 OVR

99. RIYAD MAHREZ: 85 OVR

98. ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIĆ: 85 OVR

97. RAHEEM STERLING: 85 OVR

96. BLAISE MATUIDI: 85 OVR

95. MARCO ASENSIO: 85 OVR

94. SERGEJ MILINKOVIĆ-SAVIĆ: 85 OVR

93. JOSHUA KIMMICH: 85 OVR

There are three Liverpool players in this range, with Alisson Becker, Fabinho and Virgil van Dijk all being given ratings of 85 overall.

Raheem Sterling has also been upgraded to an 85, while Lazio's Sergej Milinković-Savić has jumped up five from his 80 overall in FIFA 18.

EA Sports have also released an excellent video to promote the release of the player ratings over the next few weeks, featuring a number of star players debating the grades they have been given.

As we near approach the highest rated players, it will be interesting to see who will make the biggest leaps in this year's game. The like of Mohammed Salah and Kylian Mbappe are sure to receive massive boosts after their stellar performances last campaign.

But as the above video alluded to, there are sure to be a number of people who disagree with EA's judgments.
