Ghostrunner launched on all major platforms back in November 2020, and its release was met with favourable reviews from critics, and it also boasts a 9/10 rating on Steam.
The game is described as a 'cyberpunk platformer', and is a fast paced challenge with lots of deaths and lots of respawning.
For fans of the original there is great news, with developers 505 Games confirming its sequel's release date for October 26.
The events in Ghostrunner 2 take place a year after the first game, and you will once again play as the cyberninja, Jack.
It adds yet another title to what is a stacked October for big name sequels, including Spider-Man 2, Assassins Creed Mirage, Alan Wake 2, and Super Mario Bros. Wonder.
Initially, 505 Games had not planned on releasing the details so soon, but in a tweet yesterday they said that their hand was forced after the date had been leaked.
