The three games coming to PlayStation Plus this October have been announced, and it's a solid line up to say the least.
All three games have received good - very good reviews from critics and fans, and although it is a short list, it offers impressive variety for a wide range of gaming tastes.
Farming Simulator 22
The popular simulator game is still going strong 15 years after its first release, and although this is only the second newest in the series, it was much better received than its predecessor, with a score of 75 on Metacritic.
Take on the role of a modern farmer and creatively build your farm in three diverse American and European environments. Farming Simulator 22 offers a huge variety of farming operations focusing on agriculture, animal husbandry and forestry – now with the exciting addition of seasonal cycles!

The Callisto Protocol
This survival horror game was developed by Striking Distance Studios and released in 2022 to decent - very good reviews.
It received 7/10 from IGN, 9/10 from PCGamesN, and an average of 69/100 from Metacritic.
In this narrative-driven, third-person survival horror set 300 years in the future, take on the role of Jacob Lee – a victim of fate thrown into Black Iron Prison, a maximum-security penitentiary located on Jupiter’s moon, Callisto. When inmates begin to transform into monstrous creatures, the prison is thrown into chaos.
Weird West
If you're a fan of Red Dead Redemption and need those Wild West cravings satiated, well look no further than Weird West.
The 2023 release from WolfEye Studios uses the popular American setting but with the added twist of fantasy creatures and themes.
IGN gave the game an 8/10, and it received a respectable 73/100 on Metacritic.
