Since the glory days of EA Sports' Rugby 06, the game of Rugby Union has struggled to create a quality game for console, PC or even on mobile phones. Even some of the better efforts have had quite comedic errors in them. For example, the 2011 Rugby World Cup game which was one much better than many of the other games created in the last 16 years, depicted Stephen Ferris as a slim, bald, dark-skinned man.

Recently, however, there has been a release of the free mobile phone game Rugby Nations 24. With a Six Nations, Four Nations (Rugby Championship) and World Cup mode, it looks on the face of it to maybe be an intriguing option for Rugby fans. When it comes to the the player animations, the Ireland team is very entertaining.
