The update is live! 10 new locations and if you're wondering where are the underground mines in Fortnite then look no further, we've got the guide for you. Today's massive update has brought with it a lot of great new spots to check out but if the mines are what you're most excited about then you need to head to Shifty Shafts.
Where are the underground mines in Fortnite?
Fortnite Youtuber 'Wirf' has already uploaded a really useful video for strategising your landing in Shifty Shafts because, like everywhere in the new update, it's going to be very very busy. He advises that once you land in the Shafts you immediately want to try get down into the underground mines because that's where you're going to find the most loot.
From looking at the area it's not the greatest place for an abundance of loot but definitely could be a slightly less hectic spot to land in squads, where you can kill, pillage and move on quickly to the more populated areas.
If you look at what Mr Wirf does here, he loots the mines and then quickly heads up towards Tilted Towers, where he picks off a couple of people from the surrounding hills.
