The latest Xbox Game Pass offering includes one of our favourite racing games of recent years, as part of a lineup that's sure to be a winner with gamers.

Having started the year off with an early January lineup that included an all-time classic alongside one of the best-rated games of recent years, Xbox has gone for something of a more understated group of games for late January and early February.

Nonetheless, the inclusion of a highly-rated racing game from 2023 will surely be welcome to players.

F1 23 among latest batch of Xbox Game Pass additions

Those Who Remain (Cloud, Console, PC) - January 16

The only game in 2024's second batch of Xbox Game Pass releases to be available on day one - today, this Tuesday.

An FPS psychological thriller, Those Who Remain was released in 2020 to mixed reviews (its Xbox One release received a 59 score on Metacritic).

Turnip Boy Robs A Bank (Cloud, Console, PC) - January 18

A new release arriving direct to Xbox Game Pass on day one, and a sequel to 2021's Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion.

The Xbox website says that the latest Turnip Boy instalment tasks players to "plan and execute the weirdest heist of all time...shake down hostages, steal valuables, battle the fuzz, and use wacky tools bought off the dark web to move further into the vaults of the Botanical Bank."

Seems bizarre. We're willing to give it a shot.

F1 23 (Console, PC) - January 18

The most recent addition to the F1 series from Codemasters and EA Sports - and one which we've been thoroughly enjoying (read our review from last June here).

An updated handling model, new tracks in Qatar and Las Vegas, additional non-2023 circuits in China and Portugal, and the return of the 'Braking Point' story mode made F1 23 a surefire winner.

Palworld (Cloud, Console, PC) - January 19

Another day one release, a few players have already gained early access to Palworld - and, judging by the footage we're seeing, it seems as though there's reason for players to check this one out.

Go Mecha Ball (Cloud, Console, PC) - January 25

Xbox are really spoiling us with day one releases in this Game Pass drop.

This arcade-style twin-stick shooter looks like an absolute blast (and looks absolutely insane) judging by its launch trailer, and will be available on January 25.

Brotato (Cloud, Console, PC) - January 30

Look, we could give you plenty of backstory to this game, a breakdown of reviews, and all that.

But, when the Xbox website describes the game as a "top-down roguelite arena shooter where you play a potato wielding up to 6 weapons at a time to fight off hordes of aliens," we're not sure what else we need to say.

(And, for the record, the PC release did pick up a very strong 76 average rating on Metacritic)

Persona 3 Reload (Cloud, Console, PC) - February 2

This is yet another - you guessed it - day one release on Xbox Game Pass this month.

Persona 3 has seen many different iterations down through the years, and its upcoming current-gen remake has been hotly anticipated for years.

The original game is a classic of the RPG genre, and sees the player take the role of a high-school student as part of the "Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad."

One of the most exciting additions on this list.

Anuchard (Cloud, Console, PC) - February 6

The final addition to Xbox Game Pass this month is fantasy action game Anuchard, which originally launched in 2022.

The Xbox website says of the game's story:

The kingdom of Anuchard has fallen. Generations after the collapse, its surviving descendants have chosen you to become The Bellwielder of the magical Audros Bell. Go forth, battle monsters, solve puzzles, and restore Anuchard to its former skyward glory!
