There are some excellent and varied titles available for download next month - on both PlayStation and Xbox - ranging from golf to game creation, and space RPGs to classic horror-adventure.

PGA Tour 2K23
2K's latest in it's popular golf sim series, and this time Tiger Woods is onboard.
In terms of graphics and features it is not on the level of EA's rival golf game, but its gameplay is arguably better, and the golf course simulator is fantastic and will provide hours of fun.
Dreams
Dreams is a game creation system, which allows users to create content such as their own games and other forms of audio/visual experiences.
These can then be shared among other users.
It has received positive reviews since its release and has an aggregate score of 89/100 on metacritic.
Death's Door
Death's Door is an action-adventure game with a cartoonish art style, where the player must go through different levels, fighting off monsters and other creatures of various sorts.
This release has also received excellent reviews, with the makers drawing inspiration from the Dark Souls series, The Legend of Zelda, and Studio Ghibli.
XBOX GAME PASS
Celeste (August 15)
Celeste is a platform game from 2018, which sees the player control Madeline, a young trans woman who suffers from anxiety and depression.
The game is inspired heavily by Super Mario Bros., and has received immense acclaims, with many top gaming publications awarding it a 10/10 rating.
Everspace 2 (August 15)
This game is an action role-player that was initially released in 2021.
The user controls a spaceship, which can be upgraded as they fly through various solar systems and planets while completing missions.
Sea the Stars (August 29)
Sea the Stars is an upcoming RPG from Sabotage Studio.
It is a prequel to the 2018 game, The Messenger, which received positive reviews and many awards.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (August 18)
Another upcoming game, revolving around the legendary horror-franchise.
The game will feature five killers, including, of course, the infamous Leatherface.
