Padraig Harrington is gearing up for the Arnold Palmer Invitational, after winning a bet against fellow Irishman Shane Lowry in style.

Harrington and Lowry are both part of the field for this weekend's PGA Tour event in Florida, which carries a huge purse of $20,000,000. Harrington, however, has already gotten his first win of the week.

Ahead of the tournament, PGA Tour cameras captured Harrington and Lowry going head-to-head on the driving range.

Offaly man Lowry was left in disbelief after an astonishing 192mph drive from Harrington - which, it was later revealed, was the winning of a bet between the pair.

The clip of Padraig Harrington's drive captures the glee in his reaction - and the disbelief in Shane Lowry's.

Though the drive itself was enough to capture the attention of golf fans, the follow up on Harrington's social media made it even better.

Harrington shared his own video of the drive, which revealed that Lowry wagered him:

If he gets 191mph, I'll put a (credit) card in for a roulette all week for him.

The sheer disbelief from all involved when the mega drive from Harrington hits the mark - by 0.8mph - is brilliant. Lowry cannot muster anything but an incredulous "fuck off!"

Lowry has now pledged to place his card in a roulette to pick up every one of Harrington's bills during his time in Florida.

The first edition of the "credit card roulette" was later captured on camera, as Harrington and co. settled the bill for their Tuesday evening meal.

Lowry ended up lucking out on the first edition, with Harrington's caddie Ronan Flood forced to pick up the bill.

It's great to see the Irish pair in such good spirits ahead of this weekend's tournament, and fans will hope that one of them might be celebrating again come Sunday evening.
