Shane Lowry has come out and mocked Bryson DeChambeau's recent video which features the American golfer taking the piss out himself over his recent rope mishap.

During the LIV Golf event in Chicago, DeChambeau managed to walk straight into a gallery rope, which caused a rather dramatic reaction.

In response to the mocking he has received over the last couple of weeks, DeChambeau released a video which showed him walking under a rope before performing an over-the-top celebration with a group of friends.

While the clip was amusing and light-hearted, Shane Lowry tweeted the video earlier with the caption:

Not sure what’s worse, this or tomorrow’s @dunhilllinks weather forecast…

It seems a small bit unnecessary from Lowry, who would be better off ignoring such antics from LIV Golf members, although he may have been riled up after Talor Gooch targeted him in an Instagram post after the Chicago event.

Recently, Lowry was highly critical of the presence of certain LIV golfers at the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth, which Lowry subsequently won.

“I can’t say I am 100 per cent okay with everyone being here, but some of the guys I kind of don’t mind being here, given what they have done for the tour over the years,” Lowry said to Sky Sports.

“There are certain guys I just can’t stand them being here, to be honest, and I don’t like it that they are here. To be honest, the one thing that has really annoyed me over the last few months is how disruptive they are all trying to be.

“I get they are here to get world ranking points and to do that. But in a way, I think they are here for that and to be disruptive. I don’t think they are here for anything else.”
