Last night brought one of the more extraordinary rumours of the personal life of Tiger Woods. Reports from the National Enquirer suggested that golf's former World No.1 has had an affair with Amanda Boyd - an ex-wife of fellow US professional golfer Jason Dufner. According to these reports, this was the reason for the split between Woods and his ex-girlfriend Lindsey Vonn back in May. Jason Dufner split from his wife Amanda in April.
Now though, Tiger's agent Mark Steinberg has issued a statement to Fox claiming the rumoured romance is a "complete lie", branding the reports and fabricated and false.
Absolutely 100 per cent false. Complete lie and fabrication.
Woods is currently preparing for the Greenbrier Classic after a forgettable US Open. Judging by his practise rounds where he hit every fairway and green on his nine holes, it looks like Woods is getting back to form.
